Import provider drafts into Polymail and continue working without starting over
This release introduces Draft Import, a new way to bring drafts from connected providers like Gmail and Outlook into Polymail.
✉️ Bring provider drafts into Polymail
Provider drafts now appear directly in your Drafts view, visually separated from drafts created in Polymail.
You can:
- Preview provider drafts before importing them
- Copy a draft into Polymail while keeping the original with your provider
- Move a draft into Polymail and remove the original from the provider
- Continue editing imported drafts with the full Polymail composer and send them normally
🔄 Keep unimported drafts up to date
Before import, provider drafts continue to reflect changes made in Gmail, Outlook, or your connected provider. This lets you review the latest version before deciding to bring it into Polymail.
⚡ Built into your existing workflow
Draft Import is integrated directly into the existing Drafts view, with keyboard navigation, pagination for larger draft lists, sync controls, and onboarding guidance to make the workflow easy to discover.
Once imported, the draft behaves just like any draft created directly in Polymail, including tracking and other Polymail sending features.
This update is designed to make it easier to move between your provider and Polymail without losing work or rebuilding drafts from scratch.
