More powerful composing, smarter image handling, and continued reliability improvements across iPhone and iPad

This release continues bringing the iPhone experience into alignment with Web and Desktop while improving reliability throughout the app.

✍️ A more capable composer

We've expanded the new composer with several features designed to make composing on iPhone feel as capable as on your desktop.

New additions include:

• @mentions to reference contacts directly while composing
• Code blocks for sharing code snippets and technical content
• Smarter link pasting with options to insert links as a preview, standard link, or plain text
• Resizable inline images so you can adjust image size directly within your message
• Flexible time entry for Send Later and Read Later. Enter times like 930 or 1338 without typing a colon.

📷 Better photo and attachment handling

Working with attachments is now more flexible and reliable.

• Choose whether to send photos as Original, HD, or Standard quality to reduce oversized emails while maintaining image quality.
• Fixed issues when copying file attachments between conversations so documents retain their original file type.
• Improved attachment downloads and inline image handling for greater reliability.

📅 Improved calendar experience

Calendar invitations now match the richer experience available on Web, with improved event details and a more complete invitation layout.

🎨 More personalized

• Accent color support is now available on iOS, bringing the same interface personalization available on Web and Desktop.

⚡ Reliability improvements

This release also includes a broad set of reliability improvements throughout the app, including fixes for:

• Older emails unexpectedly resurfacing at the top of the inbox
• Deleted emails remaining visible after being moved to Trash
• Threads automatically scrolling to the latest message
• Activity Feed sorting accuracy
• Email loading reliability
• Forwarding stability
• Calendar RSVP interactions
• Several crash fixes and authentication improvements
