  • You’ll now see a version indicator and update prompt in the app, with direct access to release note details.
  • This release also includes infrastructure improvements to support faster, more reliable updates going forward.

  • Forwarded emails now correctly use the account that originally received the message
  • Snooze times are now consistent across iOS, Web, and Desktop for a unified experience
  • Includes additional modernization and stability improvements behind the scenes

WebApp 7.31.2025

  • The “Clear Cache” button has been renamed to “Re-Sync” to better reflect its purpose—resolving sync issues and refreshing your inbox more reliably.
  • Fixed a bug that caused link previews to stop working in some cases.
  • Additional stability and modernization updates to ensure a smoother experience across browsers.
  • MacOS 7.24.2025

As part of our ongoing efforts to modernize and secure Polymail, we recently updated the desktop app’s core to align with the latest privacy and permission standards. While these improvements enhanced overall security and stability, they temporarily disrupted the ability to copy contact details.

This release restores full copy-paste functionality for contact cards while preserving the stronger protections we’ve introduced.

    WebApp 7.22.2025

We’ve refined Polymail Web’s clipboard handling as part of our broader modernization and security upgrades. These behind-the-scenes updates brought the app in line with evolving browser standards but, for some users, caused issues copying contact card details.

This update resolves those issues while ensuring our clipboard handling remains secure and future-ready.

    WebApp 7.17.2025

To strengthen user privacy, we’ve added a Permissions Policy header to Polymail Web. This industry-standard security measure helps prevent unauthorized access to browser features (like camera and microphone) by restricting their use unless explicitly permitted.

This adds another layer of protection for you—without impacting your experience.

    WebApp 7.16.2025

During our modernization updates, changes to core systems inadvertently affected users on older macOS versions, preventing contact card details from being copied to the clipboard.

This release restores smooth copy-paste functionality for those users while maintaining the new performance, compatibility, and security improvements.

    WebApp 7.15.2025

We’ve upgraded several key dependencies and underlying systems in Polymail Web as part of our commitment to keeping the app fast, reliable, and secure. These updates boost performance and stability, and lay the groundwork for future enhancements, ensuring Polymail stays aligned with evolving web standards.

    Polymail iOS 1.106

We’ve addressed two key issues in this update to improve stability and reliability:

    • Compose Toolbar Fix: Resolved a rare issue where the compose toolbar could disappear on some newer iPhone models. This was caused by a microscopic floating point variance in layout calculations—we've tracked it down and fixed it for good.
    • Update Prompt Fix: Fixed the in-app update notification so it now reliably directs you to the App Store when a new version is available.

Appreciate your support as always — Team Polymail

    Polymail iOS 1.105

This follow-up update addresses additional stability issues affecting certain users on iOS 16 and 17. It builds on the fixes introduced in version 1.104 and ensures a smoother experience across a wider range of devices.

    Polymail iOS 1.104

Quick update to fix a crash that was affecting a few users on older versions of iOS and iPadOS.

    Polymail iOS 1.103

This release updates several core libraries and frameworks to their latest stable versions as part of our ongoing effort to modernize the Polymail iOS app. These upgrades improve overall performance, enhance long-term stability, and set the foundation for future enhancements.

You'll notice a smoother experience throughout the app—especially in navigation and responsiveness.
